Anneleen Van Boxstael obtained a Ph.D. degree at the department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Service Management of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Ghent University in 2015. During this Ph.D., she was a visiting student at Imperial College Business School London and at Ecole Fédérale Polytechnique de Lausanne.
Her research interest focuses on the nexus of entrepreneurship and technology challenges on the one hand, and cognitive psychology and organizational behavior on the other. Currently, she investigates the cognitive frames of founding teams in uncertain markets. In addition, she has a strong interest on how certain founder and founding team characteristics shape initial strategy choices.
