Ramon Eliëns, MSc. graduated in Marketing Management in 2013 at Rotterdam School of Management at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Ramon is currently active as a PhD student at the ITEM group of the IE&IS department. He presented his first paper on escalation of commitment in NPD, written in collaboration with dr. Eling, dr. Gelper and Prof. dr. Langerak, at the 2017 IPDMC conference in Reykjavik, Iceland, where the paper won the renowned Christer Karlsson Best Paper Award. Ramon's research interests revolve around managerial decision making during New Product Development and Consumer-Innovation related decision making.
